Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nominated by President Trump to lead Health and Human Services, may have gained support from Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, a longtime friend. Despite their close relationship, Whitehouse has not yet committed to a public stance on the nomination.<\/p>\n

Kennedy\u2019s confirmation hearings will take place before the Senate Finance and Health Committees.<\/p>\n

The Finance Committee will decide if his nomination moves forward for a full Senate vote.<\/p>\n
