Sydnie Christmas has become a fan favorite on this year\u2019s Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> and has made it to the final, which will air on Sunday night at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old from Kent works as a receptionist at a local gym on a zero-hour contract, and despite the outcome of Sunday\u2019s show, she has assured that she will be back at work on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Mirror<\/em>, she joked, \u201cI\u2019ve already had two weeks off \u2013 and I\u2019m on a zero-hours contract. I\u2019ve got rent to pay!\u201d<\/p>\n

Sydnie has always dreamed of working full-time in the West End and hopes that BGT<\/em> will serve as a stepping stone to make that dream a reality.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a year\u2019s time, I hope I\u2019m living my dream. I want to be doing what I love for a living instead of rolling towels and making shakes!\u201d<\/p>\n

Before her BGT<\/em> audition, Sydnie was contemplating giving up on her dreams.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Mirror<\/em>, Sydnie shared, \u201cIf you\u2019d have told me on New Year\u2019s Eve that this would be happening in my life five months later, I would have said something. So I\u2019m very happy and a very lucky girl.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve done loads of auditions to get into the West End, but it\u2019s always knockbacks, always hearing that you don\u2019t fit.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cAll my friends are getting married and having babies. I\u2019m still trying to afford rent in London! So I thought, \u2018Nothing\u2019s happening for me, I\u2019ll give it one last go\u2026 and here we are today!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Sydnie appeared on the E4 programme Stage School<\/em>, which aired for two seasons in 2016 and 2017, showcasing the real struggles of students studying performing arts. The show explored everything from romantic fallouts to stage dramas.<\/p>\n

Throughout her journey, Sydnie has had strong support from her family, with both her grandmothers watching her first audition at the Palladium.<\/p>\n

Her long-term boyfriend, Max Rizzo, a fellow musical actor from Sicily, has also been by her side. Max is currently signed by an agency that specializes in rising stars.<\/p>\n

Sydnie won the third live semi-final show on Wednesday after receiving a standing ovation for her rendition of Frank Sinatra\u2019s My Way<\/em>. Judge Amanda Holden was brought to tears, while Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon were in awe of her talent.<\/p>\n

Despite her success, Sydnie admitted she was extremely nervous, revealing, “My voice coach had to walk me on to the stage because I was so nervous. I\u2019m very happy it didn\u2019t look that way because I was terrified.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After years of auditions, I thought, I haven\u2019t got much to lose now.
