Faith Tucker Wows Britain\u2019s Got Talent Judges<\/h3>\n

An eighteen-year-old student from Nottingham wowed everyone on Britain\u2019s Got Talent with her operatic audition.\u00a0 Faith Tucker has been in love with opera from a very young age.\u00a0 She used to enjoy singing along with her grandmother\u2019s opera tapes in the car and quickly began to imitate the voice she heard.<\/p>\n

With a smile, Faith told the Mirror in a later interview, \u201cMy parents always knew I had a high voice \u2013 my dad used to say I would screech notes in his ear.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, with hard work and practice, she\u2019s come a long way from \u201cscreeching.\u201d\u00a0 Faith was initially discovered when she was sixteen by MasterChef star Gregg Wallace while she was singing at a charity event for Rainbows for Children\u2019s Hospice.\u00a0 He was so impressed with her voice and overall performance that he asked her to sing at his upcoming wedding.<\/p>\n

For her audition on Britain\u2019s Got Talent, Faith chose to perform \u201cGranada,\u201d a song written in 1932 by composer Agust\u00edn Lara.\u00a0 She took a big risk by choosing this song, because it\u2019s been sung previously by legends like Jos\u00e9 Carreras, Luciano Pavarotti, and Frank Sinatra.<\/p>\n

Dressed in a red shirt and black pants and holding a red hand fan, Faith struck a confident pose center stage.\u00a0 The judges all looked a little confused at first when the introduction started for \u201cGranada,\u201d but as soon as she started singing, the confusion turned into wide eyes full of shock and appreciation.\u00a0 She had a surprisingly mature, strong classically operatic voice that no one was expecting.<\/p>\n

Both the crowd and the judges were all impressed with her stage presence, confidence, and almost-effortless performance of the difficult piece. If Faith was nervous, she didn\u2019t show it at all.\u00a0 Her voice was steady, and she hit even the highest notes with ease.<\/p>\n

Faith shocked everyone with her flawless performance.\u00a0 All four judges sent her on to the next round without any hesitation at all.\u00a0 You would be crazy not to agree with them.<\/p>\n

This young opera singer is going places for sure.\u00a0 In an interview, Faith expressed her desire to become a classical\/pop crossover artist.\u00a0 She said that one of her musical inspirations is Beyonce, saying, \u201cI\u2019d love to be a \u2018popera Beyonce.\u2019 I love her, and she is who I listen to and aspire to be like. I\u2019d love to perform for her.\u201d<\/p>\n
