Garth Brooks<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Trisha Yearwood<\/strong>\u00a0came together on the Opry stage for a spirited performance of Brooks\u2019 1991 hit, \u201cTwo of a Kind, Workin\u2019 on a Full House.\u201d Their performance aired on NBC during the two-hour\u00a0Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music<\/i> special.<\/p>\n

The beloved country couple\u2018s rendition of \u201cTwo of a Kind, Workin\u2019 on a Full House\u201d was taped when they stepped into the Opry circle together on May 2, 2020. Brooks and Yearwood are longtime Grand Ole Opry members as Brooks was inducted in 1989 and Yearwood was inducted in 1999.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo of a Kind, Workin\u2019 on a Full House\u201d is a song co-written by Warren Haynes, Dennis Robbins and Bobby Boyd. It was originally recorded by Robbins in 1987. Brooks later recorded the song for his 1991 album,\u00a0No Fences<\/em>, which he then released as the album\u2019s third single and became his fifth consecutive No. 1 hit.<\/p>\n

Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music<\/i> also featured performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Lady A, Little Big Town, Little Big Town, Old Crow Medicine Show, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Kane Brown, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Marty Stuart and Carrie Underwood.<\/p>\n

The show also gave fans a look back at some of the most iconic performances in Opry history and showcased archived Opry interview and performance footage from today\u2019s Opry members and legendary artists.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the two-hour special also included star-studded collaborations from Darius Rucker featuring Old Crow Medicine Show, Carrie Underwood with Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Marty Stuart, Vince Gill featuring Reba McEntire and more.<\/p>\n
