The Grammy-winning Australian country artist Keith Urban, known for hits like \u201cBlue Ain\u2019t Your Color\u201d and \u201cSomebody Like You,\u201d has a remarkable history with the Grand Ole Opry.<\/p>\n
Before being inducted into the Hall of Fame, Keith had the opportunity to perform at the Opry with his band, The Ranch, as the backup band for the legendary Australian country artist Slim Dusty.<\/p>\n
When Keith was inducted into the Hall of Fame, he shared that during that early performance, he dreamed of one-day being center stage at the iconic Grand Ole Opry.<\/p>\n

His dream came true on April 21, 2012, more than a decade after he debuted as a solo artist in 2000.<\/p>\n
Vince Gill originally invited him to\u00a0join during a benefit concert in Nashville.\u00a0After the concert, he was surprised with a duffel bag containing\u00a0a microphone stand. He was officially welcomed on April 21, 2012, by Trace Adkins.<\/p>\n
