Bryson Quick<\/strong>, a 17-year-old high school senior, delivered a countrified rendition of a Pink Floyd hit on\u00a0American Idol<\/em>. His impressive performance scored him a golden ticket to Hollywood and a special invitation to perform at the Grand Ole Opry alongside Chayce Beckham.<\/p>\n

Quick, originally from Seymour, Tennessee, dedicated his performance to his younger sister, Kendyll, who has a rare disorder called Joubert Syndrome. \u201cWhat motivates me mainly is my little sister, because she loves music and she loves to sing, but she\u2019s got a very rare disorder called\u00a0Joubert Syndrome, which just severely limits her motor skills and kind of alters her day-to-day life. But she still lives it all with a smile,\u201d Quick shared of his little sister, Kendyll. \u201cHaving Kendyll be here means the world to me, and she\u2019s always been my biggest supporter at every show and everything I\u2019ve ever played. She\u2019s always in the front row, smiling, singing along with me. So I\u2019d love to get this ticket from my sister, Kendyll and my parents.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luke Bryan questioned Quick about what he does and if he gigs around in Tennessee. \u201cI gig all around Knoxville playing tailgates, restaurants, breweries, everything I can at the age of 17,\u201d Quick explained. \u201cI\u2019m going to throw y\u2019all a little curveball and put my spin on a Pink Floyd song.\u201d<\/p>\n
