Laci Kaye Booth<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Laine Hardy<\/strong>\u00a0returned to\u00a0American Idol<\/em> on Monday, kicking off the much-anticipated Idol Reunion Show with a performance of \u201cStop Draggin My Heart Around\u201d by Fleetwood Mac\u2019s Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.<\/p>\n

Prior to their performance, the Season 17 alums reflected on their Idol journey and updates fans on what they\u2019ve been doing since their time on the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy name is\u00a0Laci Kaye Booth, and I was a Top 5 finalist and this is\u00a0Laine Hardy\u00a0and he beat me,\u201d Booth joked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m feeling so much emotion, I just feel so blessed that I got to be part of this journey. I\u2019m absolutely living out the dream that I\u2019ve always envisioned for myself\u2026 Writing, touring, and releasing music,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

While Booth and Hardy may not see each other as much as they used to, she says they often bump into each other in Music City.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur paths get to cross quite a bit in Nashville, which is fun,\u201d Booth said.<\/p>\n

Booth kicked off their performance as she sang Nicks\u2019 opening verse before Hardy joined her on stage to sing Petty\u2019s part of the tune while playing electric guitar.<\/p>\n
