Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) says the Department of Justice has not responded to her inquiry on whether she\u2019s under investigation. The inquiry stems from her \u201cKnow Your Rights\u201d immigration webinar, which offered undocumented immigrants legal guidance on dealing with ICE.<\/p>\n<p>Ocasio-Cortez has denied wrongdoing, calling the situation \u201cpolitically motivated\u201d and accusing Trump allies, including Border Czar Tom Homan, of trying to intimidate her for exercising free speech. In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, she warned of DOJ \u201cweaponization\u201d against dissenting officials.<\/p>\n<p>The controversy follows comments from Homan, who claimed to have contacted DOJ officials to raise concerns over her actions potentially impeding law enforcement.
