The celebrity chef community is continuing to mourn the shocking loss of one of their own.<\/p>\n

The news of chef\u00a0Anne Burrell<\/strong>\u2018s death has rocked\u00a0Food Network<\/strong>\u00a0fans and chefs alike. Many friends and colleagues have taken to social media to pay their respects, now including her former co-star\u00a0Bobby Flay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Bobby was one of many chefs who joined Anne as co-host at one point during\u00a0Worst Cooks in America<\/em>. While Anne was on the show for almost its entire run beginning in 2010 (minus the most recent season that premiered earlier this year), Bobby starred as her competitor for four seasons, and it\u2019s a time he\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n

He shared on his\u00a0Instagram Story<\/strong>\u00a0on Wednesday:<\/p>\n

\u201cWorst Cooks in America was the funnest show on TV. All of your co-hosts (me included) were just alongside for the Anne Burrell ride.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But there\u2019s something else about his friend he\u2019ll remember and cherish even more, the\u00a0Beat Bobby Flay<\/em>\u00a0star explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe greatest gift I got from AB was turning me on to a world of Maine Coon Cats (including Nacho)\u2026 a gift that I\u2019ll have forever #unforgettable\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Aw! He posted the tribute along with a photo of Anne with two adorable cats. Nacho was one of Bobby\u2019s beloved cats who sadly passed in 2023. He also has two other cats named Stella and Canelo. How sweet Anne passed her love of the feline breed to him, and what a special way he can always remember her!<\/p>\n

Anne\u2019s story just keeps getting sadder. We learned the 55-year-old was\u00a0found unresponsive\u00a0by her husband,\u00a0Stuart Claxton<\/strong>, early on Tuesday morning lying on the floor in the shower of her Brooklyn home. She was last seen by Stuart at around 1 a.m. after\u00a0performing in an improv show\u00a0the night before. The\u00a0New York Fire Department<\/strong>\u00a0told\u00a0Page Six<\/em>\u00a0they received a call about a cardiac arrest, but an official cause of death has not been confirmed at this time.<\/p>\n
