In Tepic, Nayarit, three women lost their lives this morning while driving on the Tepic-Mazatl\u00e1n freeway at the San Blas intersection, close to the town of El Jicote. The accident resulted in injuries to another person.<\/p>\n
Officials say the driver of a red Nissan Versa with four passengers got into the wrong lane and collided with a three-ton refrigerated truck.<\/p>\n
The three women in the Nissan Versa perished instantly in the collision because of the powerful impact. Elva Karina \u201cN,\u201d Irma Leticia \u201cN,\u201d and Yolanda Leticia \u201cN,\u201d who were originally from Santiago Ixcuintla and Rosamorada, were identified as teachers at the Rosamorada Technical Secondary School.<\/p>\n
The driver of the Versa was identified as Gilberto \u201cN,\u201d who was most likely the director of the school.
