The Oscar winner, 49, didn\u2019t mince words as she blasted the billionaire Amazon founder and his new wife for hosting the who\u2019s who of Hollywood at their Venetian nuptials last week.<\/p>\n

While hosting the fifth annual Block Party for the\u00a0Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project\u00a0on Saturday, Theron couldn\u2019t help but take aim at the pair\u2019s lavish three-day wedding extravaganza.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding,\u201d Theron deadpanned onstage at the Los Angeles event.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut that\u2019s OK because they suck and we\u2019re cool,\u201d she added,\u00a0per the Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n

The \u201cOld Guard\u201d star thanked her guests for \u201ctaking the time to be a part of this, especially when the world feels like it\u2019s burning because it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHere in Los Angeles, in the US and across the globe, we\u2019re moving backwards fast,\u201d she went on.<\/p>\n

While she\u2019s kept a largely low profile following the public split, Scott generously pledged to give away at least half of her wealth.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Hollywood actress Mia Farrow, 80, took to social media to share a throwback snap of Scott\u00a0on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow awesome is MacKenzie Scott! (Jeff Bezos\u2019 first wife and mother of his 4 children),\u201d Farrow wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1600 charitable organizations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Katie Couric\u00a0slammed S\u00e1nchez\u2019s Dolce & Gabbana gown as \u201ctacky\u201d\u00a0in a scathing Instagram comment following her wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to the eighties \u2014 when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently tacky is back,\u201d she wrote in an Instagram comment under a\u00a0now-deleted post<\/a>\u00a0shared by\u00a0John F. Kennedy\u2019s grandson,\u00a0Jack Schlossberg.<\/p>\n
