Nelson is currently on his hugely successful Outlaw Music Festival Tour. Unfortunately, they\u00a0had to cancel the July 1st date due to \u201c<em>unforeseeable circumstances<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The concert was set to take place in El Reno, Oklahoma, but on June 29, the crew was hit with an \u201c<strong><em>extreme weather event\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>at the Ridgedale, Missouri, tour stop. The weather got so bad that the audience was forced to evacuate. Some instruments got damaged and \u201cwaterlogged\u201d and needed repair or replacement. The tour has close to 20 dates left, so the turnaround on the repairs and replacements had to be quick and long-lasting!<\/p>\n<p>The tour resumed on July 5th in Dallas at the Dos Equis Pavilion with an incredible lineup of Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, The Mavericks, and Tami Neilson. Nelson, of course played an entire set, but one of the highlights had to be when he performed alongside his son, Lukas.
