The track comes from the\u00a0Guns N\u2019 Roses\u00a0guitarist\u2019s upcoming\u00a0blues\u00a0album\u00a0<em>Orgy Of The Damned<\/em>, which was launched last month with a\u00a0cover of Howlin\u2019 Wolf\u2019s\u00a0<em>Killing Floor<\/em>, performed alongside AC\/DC\u2019s Brian Johnson and Aerosmith\u2019s Steven Tyler.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, this is the original Fleetwood Mac, which was founded by Peter Green, one of the greatest singer-songwriter-guitar players,\u201d advises Slash. \u201cHe\u2019s less known in the public, but very well known to us guitar players re the 60s British blues and he\u2019s up there with Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Nick Taylor.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/slash-and-chris-stapleton-a-billboard-1548.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Slash Taps Chris Stapleton For Cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Oh Well'\" \/><\/p>\n<aside class=\"hawk-base hawk-processed\" data-block-type=\"embed\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\" data-widget-id=\"26331d98-9946-42c8-9735-c96934d64dd6\" data-result=\"missing\"><\/aside>\n<p>\u201cHe sort of had a misadventure with drugs and disappeared early in his career, but he had some great fucking songs and\u00a0<em>Oh Well<\/em>\u00a0is one of my favourites. I remember hearing the song on the radio when I was probably 13, they used to play both the older version of Fleetwood Mac and the new version of the band with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham a lot. I always loved this song, and it\u2019s a great guitar riff. I jammed it with the Blues Ball back in the \u201890s, and I\u2019ve played it live here and there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew from the beginning I wanted to do the song on this record. It was also one of the songs that I was trying to figure out who would be the right vocalist for it, and one of the ideas I had was Chris Stapleton, who is one of the most brilliant singer-songwriters today. He\u2019s also got such a gritty and distinctive voice, so I called him up and he did an amazing job. I mean, his voice is so cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube-video\" data-nosnippet=\"\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Slash feat.
