The heartbroken father of the 13-year-old\u00a0killed in the horrific Miami boat crash Monday\u00a0revealed the final words his \u201cperfect daughter\u201d told him before the tragedy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still remember when we dropped her off. She said, \u2018See you later, mom and dad!\u2019\u201d Pil Jye Ko told Local 10 News his daughter, Erin Ko Han, said to him and his wife as they dropped her off for her first day at the Miami Yacht Club\u2019s sailing camp.<\/p>\n

Ko said when he heard about the crash, he hoped it was a \u201cdream.\u201d However, when he realized it wasn\u2019t, he prayed for a \u201cmiracle.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat the hospital would call and say, \u2018Your daughter is alive. She\u2019s alright.\u2019 But no, that didn\u2019t happen. No, no, no. It\u2019s not what happened,\u201d Ko said.<\/p>\n

The grieving dad and his wife rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital to be by their teen\u2019s bedside, where they were in disbelief over her injuries.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can still see it in my mind. She had many wounds to her head, her arms, her legs, everywhere,\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n

The Nautilus Middle School star student was fluent in English, Spanish, and Korean, and was learning Japanese. She excelled on the volleyball court and loved swimming, Ko said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was the perfect daughter,\u201d Ko said.<\/p>\n

Chilean natives, the Ko family relocated to Florida in 2024 for work and to provide a better life for Erin.<\/p>\n

However, the heartbroken family is now left seeking \u201cjustice\u201d for Erin\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very much in pain in our hearts because she was all we had,\u201d Ko told the outlet. \u201cI need to honor my daughter because I can\u2019t say goodbye as if nothing (happened). I need to know what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mila Yankelevich, 7,\u00a0the granddaughter of an award-winning Argentinian TV producer, Cris Morena, was also killed when the barge plowed into their sailboat while at summer camp.<\/p>\n

Two other campers, ages 8 and 11, were critically injured in the wreck. The sailboat\u2019s 19-year-old instructor and a 12-year-old girl were unhurt.<\/p>\n

The US Coast Guard\u00a0launched an investigation into the deadly crash.<\/p>\n
