He was riding a BMW S1000 RR, a high-performance bike known for rapid acceleration; witnesses said they heard the engine\u2019s roar moments before impact.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the rider crossed into the oncoming lane in a curve and struck a Renault Sandero driven by a 30-year-old woman. Both vehicles were badly damaged, the motorcycle most of all.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters arrived within minutes, stabilized the rider, and rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he died shortly after arrival. The Sandero driver tested negative on a breathalyzer; she told police relatives removed her car from the scene before investigators arrived, complicating immediate evidence collection.<\/p>\n<p>The BMW\u2014worth an estimated R$70,000 to R$150,000 depending on condition\u2014was left unrecognizable and was taken to the police impound.
