On Thursday\u2019s episode of\u00a0\u201cThe Kelly Clarkson Show,\u201d<\/a> the \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d alum added her own twist on the hit song\u2019s chorus appearing to use inspiration from her own\u00a0tumultuous split.<\/p>\n

\u201cForget you and your dad\/ And the fact that you got half,\u201d Clarkson, 40, sang. \u201cAnd my broken heart\/ Turned that s\u2014t into art.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gayle, 18, originally sings, \u201cF\u2014k you and your mom\/ And your sister and you job \/ And your broke-ass car\/ And that s\u2014t you call art.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarkson\u00a0filed for divorce from Blackstock, 46,\u00a0in June 2020 after seven years of marriage. Following an intense two-year battle over their assets, the pair settled their divorce in March 2022.<\/p>\n
