His family confirmed his passing on Aug. 7, 2025, and tributes soon followed for the longtime music executive.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"362\" data-end=\"670\">Clarkson and Blackstock married in 2013 and share two children; their divorce was finalized in 2022. A California labor commissioner later ordered Blackstock to repay more than $2.6 million in commissions, and by May 2024 both sides had settled their remaining lawsuits.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"946\">Blackstock managed artists including Blake Shelton and Rascal Flatts and is the son of Narvel Blackstock (and former stepson of Reba McEntire).
