Brandon Blackstock\u2019s daughter Savannah\u00a0posted a picture with her father\u00a0before his death.<\/p>\n

On July 20, Savannah, 23, shared a photo of herself and the music manager, who died on Aug. 7. Blackstock had his arm around Savannah in the photo, posing among the trees and greenery.<\/p>\n

\u201cback home to the mountains & my daddy,\u201d she\u00a0wrote on Facebook\u00a0alongside pictures of her 3-year-old Lake, whom she shares with husband Quentin Lee.<\/p>\n

Blackstock shares Savannah and son, Seth, from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth.<\/p>\n

A couple of weeks before posting the family photos, Savannah announced that she was pregnant.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been keeping a couple sweet surprises,\u201d the Florida-based realtor\u00a0wrote on Instagram\u00a0on July 5. Her page has since been set to private. \u201cOne little girl will be making her arrival at the beginning of January and another beautiful girl named Julianna who has already been one of the greatest blessings to our family.\u201d<\/p>\n

A rep for Blackstock\u2019s family told PEOPLE in a statement that the former music manager died on Aug. 7. \u201cIt is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrandon bravely battled cancer\u00a0for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family\u2019s privacy during this very difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The day before he died, his ex-wife,\u00a0Kelly Clarkson,\u00a0announced that she was postponing her Las Vegas shows\u00a0for the remainder of August to be present for their children, daughter River, 11 and son Remington, 9, as Blackstock was \u201cill.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children\u2019s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,\u201d Clarkson, 43, wrote on Instagram. She apologized to her fans and thanked them for their understanding.<\/p>\n

Clarkson and Blackstock wed in 2013. Clarkson filed for divorce in 2020, and it\u00a0was finalized two years later. Blackstock was\u00a0diagnosed with cancer following their divorce.<\/p>\n

A source told PEOPLE\u00a0that the\u00a0American Idol\u00a0<\/em>winner was \u201cstaying strong\u201d for her children and is
\n\u201cheartbroken\u201d for them.<\/p>\n
