Brandon\u2019s\u00a0obituary lists\u00a0the \u201cFancy\u201d singer as his stepparent.<\/p>\n<p>Brandon Blackstock worked as a talent manager for Starstruck Entertainment, the agency owned by his father. Starstruck Entertainment\u00a0also represents\u00a0Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce and Emily Ann Roberts.<\/p>\n<p>Narvel Blackstock managed Kelly Clarkson\u2019s career from 2007 to 2017, stepping back when his son took over.<\/p>\n<p>Reba remained close to Brandon even after her 2015 split from his father. \u201cBrandon\u2019s been my son forever, it seems. Although he\u2019s my stepson, I still love him like he\u2019s my total \u2014 my blood,\u201d the three-time Grammy Award winner\u00a0told Entertainment Tonight\u00a0in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with\u00a0<em>Extra<\/em>\u00a0that same year,\u00a0<em>The Voice<\/em>\u00a0star expressed support for both Blackstock and Clarkson amid their divorce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, I love them both.
