When confronted, she smugly insisted she \u201cdeserved it.\u201d That night, sitting in our half-empty home, I realized her theft wasn\u2019t about the gifts themselves \u2014 it was about control and pride.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"825\" data-end=\"1173\">So we set a trap.
