THE KELLY Clarkson Show\u2019s new season plans have been revealed after the beloved host suffered the sudden loss of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.<\/p>\n

After the pop star announced the\u00a0cancellation of her Las Vegas residency shows\u00a0in August due to the\u00a0family tragedy, many fans wondered if she would return for the premiere of her talk show in September.<\/p>\n

According to a show insider, The\u00a0Kelly Clarkson\u00a0Show will be coming back as scheduled next season, despite the host dealing with tremendous grief.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is first and foremost present for her kids and processing the tragedy herself in many different layers but she has been in some meetings already.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she is looking forward to her show coming back. The show is coming back as scheduled next month, no changes are being made as of right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything is moving along as previously planned before this. She needs a sense of normalcy and routine, and quite frankly needs the distraction,\u201d the insider claimed.<\/p>\n

The source continued to talk about Kelly\u2019s\u00a0children she shares with Brandon, River, 11, and Remington, 9: \u201cShe wants the same for her kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cHelping them navigate through this is her top priority. There\u2019s no rule book or instruction book for it.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is trying her best but she\u2019s struggling helping them cope to life without their dad. She\u2019s putting on a brave face for everyone around her though, that\u2019s for sure.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor someone who is so emotional, she is so good at holding everything together and being strong for others. She\u2019s an amazing mom.<\/p>\n

The show insider added that Kelly, 43, was handling the matter privately as most of the crew members were not privy to what was really going on behind the scenes with\u00a0Brandon.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople on her staff knew she had something going on with her husband. A select few knew he was sick, the rest suspected he was sick.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut no one knew it was going to be so bad so quickly. It was a shock to everyone and I think Kelly herself that he passed away when he did.<\/p>\n

On August 7th,\u00a0Brandon\u2019s former company, Starstruck Entertainment, announced that he had\u00a0passed away\u00a0at the age of 48 following a battle with melanoma cancer.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years,<\/p>\n

\u201cHe passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family\u2019s privacy during this very difficult time,\u201d\u00a0the company where Brandon served as a music manager for years stated.<\/p>\n

While Kelly has already canceled several professional projects that were set to happen in August, such as her Las Vegas concerts and a Texas charity benefit, the September premiere of her talk show is seemingly still happening.<\/p>\n

PRIVATE BATTLE<\/h2>\n

Brandon, who became very private following\u00a0his divorce\u00a0from\u00a0Kelly, 43, was\u00a0rarely pictured in recent years.<\/p>\n

After the couple\u2019s separation in June 2020, Brandon left\u00a0Los Angeles, where Kelly was currently residing\u00a0to\u00a0host her talk show,\u00a0and\u00a0moved to live a quieter life on his ranch in\u00a0Montana.<\/p>\n

The couple endured a drawn-out custody battle that turned nasty in court after\u00a0Kelly filed for divorce in June of 2020.<\/p>\n

Their divorce was finalized in 2022 and cost Kelly a fortune, including a one-time payment of $1.3 million, monthly child support of $45,601, as well as a monthly spousal support payment of $115,000.<\/p>\n

However,\u00a0Kelly\u00a0was granted primary custody of\u00a0their two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander with Brandon having visitation rights.<\/p>\n
