Texas has made a significant impact since the tragic floods that occurred over the Fourth of July weekend.<\/p>\n

On the 4th of July, parts of South and Central Texas, especially Kerr County, were ravaged by floodwaters, sweeping away people, homes, and communities. The event was horrific to say the least. Families are mourning their loved ones, and the affected communities are still identifying what they need to rebuild.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, with the help of the country music community, many artists have announced or put on benefit shows. George Strait\u2019s \u2018Strait To The Heart\u2019 concert raised $6.5 million and counting, Pat Green raised over $1 million through his virtual concert held at Globe Life Field, Koe Wetzel\u2019s show raised over $750,000, and Josh Weathers quickly organized a virtual show that surpassed $500,000. There are still many more concerts to come, including Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum\u2019s concert, which features a stacked lineup that includes Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Kelly Clarkson, Ronnie Dunn, Dylan Gossett, Jack Ingram, Cody Johnson, Lyle Lovett, Lukas Nelson, Jon Randall, and Randy Rogers Band.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been incredible to see Texas rally around the shows that have already taken place, and it\u2019s even more remarkable to see the overlap in some lineups, with artists supporting their country music colleagues making appearances at multiple benefit concerts.
