In a heartfelt message posted on social media, Zoe paid tribute to her mother\u2019s strength and dignity, writing: <em data-start=\"571\" data-end=\"686\">\u201cOur beautiful mum, Julia, has left us. She fought her illness with such strength and grace. We are heartbroken.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"1075\">The 53-year-old broadcaster recently took time away from her radio duties to be by her mother\u2019s side during her final weeks. During her absence, <strong data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"850\">Gaby Roslin<\/strong> filled in on air, while listeners and colleagues flooded Zoe with messages of love and support. Those close to her say she wanted to step away from the spotlight to be fully present \u2014 not as a presenter, but as a daughter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1554\">In her post, Zoe also expressed deep gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and care teams who cared for her mother throughout her illness, as well as to friends and fans for their kindness. <em data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1436\">\u201cWe are so grateful for the care Mum received and for all the love shown to our family. My brother Jamie and I will never forget the warmth and compassion surrounding us.\u201d<\/em> Her words reflected both heartbreak and appreciation \u2014 the quiet strength of a daughter finding solace amid sorrow.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1556\" data-end=\"2009\">Julia Peckham is remembered as a woman of warmth, humour, and resilience \u2014 qualities she instilled in her children. Zoe closed her tribute with a moving reflection: <em data-start=\"1721\" data-end=\"1811\">\u201cMum taught us kindness, laughter, and courage.
