Acting had never been his dream \u2014 he wanted to be a doctor \u2014 and the spotlight only made him feel more disconnected from himself.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"539\" data-end=\"1010\">Everything changed when he met a girl who invited him to church. He went only because he liked her, not because he was searching for faith. Yet that simple visit sparked a transformation. Raised without religion and calling himself an atheist, Cameron suddenly found his worldview shifting. His new beliefs influenced how he approached life and work, and although some producers and co-stars questioned the change, he insisted he was simply trying to live with integrity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1012\" data-end=\"1467\">As he grew older, Hollywood began to feel darker to him.
