Although Marita admits she was initially intimidated by his appearance, she says that after getting to know him, she discovered he was kind, loving, and completely devoted to his family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">His children also defend him, saying he may look scary to some people, but he is a good dad. Richard says he attends school events, participates in the PTA, and stays actively involved in his children\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the criticism, Richard says tattoos do not determine what kind of parent someone is.
