The Voice is replacing its usual Knockout Rounds with a new stage called Cut Week, a format change that could send 15 singers home before Season 30\u2019s Live Shows begin. After the Battle Rounds, each of the four teams is expected to have seven artists. Coaches Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, Adam Levine and Queen Latifah will each send two singers straight through to the Live Shows, leaving five performers per team to compete for another place.<\/p>\n

The coaches have voiced reservations about the choices ahead. Levine described Cut Week as brutal, while Queen Latifah said she was reluctant to send anyone from her team home. Clarkson also expressed discomfort with the process. Their teams\u2019 performances, the coaches\u2019 selections and the audience vote will determine who continues.<\/p>\n
