America’s Got Talent: Richard Goodall Came From Humble Beginnings

One of the things that longtime viewers love about a show like America’s Got Talent is the fact that anyone can win. Recent Season 19 winner Richard Goodall is a perfect example of what makes the show great. AGT: Goodall Quit Job As A Janitor?

Goodall said: “I need to be smart. That’s a lot of money, but that kind of money doesn’t always go very far if you’re just being stupid. There’s TV shows about lottery winners that win the lottery and two years later they’ve got absolutely nothing. So we’re gonna be smart about it.”

How Will America’s Got Talent Winner Spend His $1M Prize?

Speaking about how he would spend his massive prize money, Richard Goodall said that he wants to invest some of his winnings. In addition to that, he also wants to rent or lease a “nice RV” and hit the road. Certainly, there are a lot of new roads open to Goodall after securing his big win. Still, more than anything, he seems to be playing it safe.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Goodall added: “We’re not fancy people, so it’s not going to be anything fancy or extravagant. We’re just regular people and the money is… we just try to be conservative about it. We have no idea or expectations of what’s coming ahead.”
