My SIL and Brother Demanded to Use My Credit Card—When I Said No, They Took It and Got What They Deserved

When I got a student credit card to start building my credit, I thought I was being responsible. I only told my dad, trusting him to keep it private.

But somehow, my brother Mark and his wife Kendra found out. They approached me, insisting they just wanted to “borrow” the card. I firmly refused, knowing it could damage my credit.

A few days later, they showed up at my place without warning. It felt off, but I didn’t think much of it at the time.

After they left, I checked my wallet—and the card was gone. That’s when I realized they must have taken it behind my back. I never expected my own family to betray my trust like that.
