Foreigner Performs a Medley of Greatest Hits on ‘The Voice’ Season 27 Finale
While either Jaelen Johnston, Adam David, Jadyn Cree, Renzo, or Lucia Flores-Wiseman will walk away the latest winner of The Voice, the season 27 finale showcased a wide range of talent outside of the Top 5. Although taking time to celebrate the accomplishments of each of the contestants, the producers also scheduled numerous hit performances from stars like Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper, and even Alicia Keys. And not wanting to miss out on the event, the legendary band Foreigner also took the stage to offer viewers at home a medley of their greatest hits.
Having traveled the world for almost 50 years, Foreigner first started in New York City during the late 1970s. Jump forward a few decades, the band sold 80 million albums thanks to songs like “Cold as Ice”, “Hot Blooded”, and “The Was Yesterday”.” Just last year, the band crossed a massive milestone when inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And with Foreigner still performing, they didn’t miss a beat when appearing on The Voice.
Although having a deep discography to pick from, Foreigner decided to entertain fans with their classic songs “Juke Box Hero”, “I Want To Know What Love Is”, and “Feels Like The First Time.” Again, the band could pick any song from their discography, and most fans would know almost every word.

Foreigner Knows What Love Is Thanks To Fans Of ‘The Voice’
While Foreigner went through some major lineup changes over the years, the group didn’t skip a beat when entertaining the Top 5. With the Top 5 getting a chance to see performances from some top names in the music industry, they got just a glimpse into the stardom that could engulf them if they were to win season 27.
As for fans of Foreigner, they seemed to love the mashup of songs during the season finale with comments reading, “Foreigner opens the show with the current and future lead vocalists trading songs. Both sounded great. This history right here. So many great songs. I now Know What Love Is.” Another person added, “Up perfoming on #VoiceFinale is #LuisMaldnado along with #Foreigner singing ” I Wanna Know What Love Is” . What a way to kick off the show tonight! #TheVoice.”
With only one singer able to be crowned the winner of The Voice, coaches Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend, Adam Levine, and Michael Bublé hoped they did enough to push their contestant across the finish line. While each coach had a contestant in the running, Bublé had two with Cree and David. Coming off his win during season 26, Bublé could add another victory to his time on The Voice.
For those who might have missed the season 27 finale, the episode can be streamed the following day on Peacock.
