‘Duck Dynasty’ family receives some very bad news after Phil Robertson’s passing

Miss Kay Robertson, matriarch of the Duck Dynasty family, is facing a difficult time following the death of her husband, Phil Robertson, who passed away on May 25 at age 79 from Alzheimer’s. The couple had been married for 60 years, and her family says the loss has deeply affected her.

Son Willie Robertson shared that Kay is struggling with both her physical health and depression, and that the family is doing all they can to support her. She was absent from the June 1 premiere of Duck Dynasty: The Revival due to her condition.

Kay has also faced recent health issues, including a fall and infection in April that required hospitalization. She now lives in a care facility affectionately called “Kay’s Kingdom,” where she receives constant care and emotional support.

Though she’s no longer a central on-screen figure, her presence is still strongly felt. Through faith and family, Miss Kay remains an enduring symbol of strength, love, and resilience in the Robertson legacy.
