Bunnie Shares Hopeful Update About Her IVF Journey

Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie XO, have been open about their struggles with infertility and their desire to start a family. Jelly Roll has two biological children, Bailee Ann and Noah Buddy, from different mothers.

Recently, Bunnie discussed on her podcast that she is pursuing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments to create “a little piece of my husband and me.” To expand their family, alongside the two beautiful children they already have.

“I’m literally going through IVF treatments right now — the hormones, the shots, all that. I’m going through all of the emotions, the rollercoaster, [and] the worry, just so that I can have a little piece of my husband and me — just a little piece wrapped in skin — to just add to the other two beautiful children that we have together.”

IVF is an assisted reproductive method used when facing fertility challenges. The average success rate for IVF is about 50%, which tends to decrease with age, as Bunnie noted during a recent episode of her podcast.

“Especially doing IVF meds. It’s like a slot machine in Vegas. You never know what you’re going to get. It’s a different outcome. What works for some doesn’t work for others. Age is a factor.”

Bunnie explained the IVF process, which begins with daily hormone injections to stimulate egg production beyond the single egg typically produced each menstrual cycle. This is followed by egg retrieval and fertilization, where the eggs are combined with sperm in a lab. The best embryos are then monitored for development. The IVF journey can be both costly and time-consuming, which Jelly Roll and Bunnie have been navigating for five months. The process often includes emotional ups and downs, as there are no guarantees that the eggs will fertilize or that transferred embryos will successfully implant.

In a heartwarming moment, Bunnie recently shared a video on Instagram in which she was on a phone call, visibly emotional and in tears.

She included text in the video that said,

“When you just got the call you’ve been waiting on for 5 months since this IVF journey started. All the tears, the hopelessness & the struggle, God finally said, ‘Here.’”

The caption stated, “Praise Jesus.”

Later, Bunnie clarified in the caption that this was not a pregnancy update, and fans should not expect such announcements from them.

“This is not a pregnancy announcement- we won’t announce that. This is just a huge huge win for us.”

Although Jelly Roll and Bunnie have been candid about their IVF experience, fans are unaware of their current stage in the process. So this hopeful news could signify various possibilities. Nonetheless, it suggests the couple is one step closer to having biological children together.

Bunnie Has Been Turning To TikTok For Support

Bunnie also mentioned that she turns to TikTok for support during this journey.

On an episode of her podcast, Dumb Blonde Podcast, she expressed that she has found comfort among others on TikTok facing similar challenges. She acknowledged that without her TikTok community, she might not have embarked on this IVF journey.

Additionally, Bunnie shared a message of encouragement for women undergoing IVF, stating,

“Know that you’re not alone, and just know that there’s so many of us girls that are doing it. And if you really want a community, go find the TikTok IVF girlies, man… yeah, they’re so sweet to each other, and they share everything-they really do.”
