Snoop Dogg recently spoke about his new gig as a coach on The Voice Season 26, saying he and his fellow coaches are a “fearless foursome.” Snoop will appear on the show alongside Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and fellow newbie Michael Bublé.
Snoop Dogg Talks About His Fellow The Voice Coaches
Snoop was recently in Paris for the Summer Olympics, where he worked as a commentator for NBC. During a conversation toward the end of the Games, the rapper opened up about his experience as a coach on The Voice, which premieres a new season on September 23.
“Man, I’m so happy to be on The Voice. Bublé, Reba, Gwen… We are a fearless foursome,” Snoop said. “And I meant to say that. Like, we have so much fun when we’re on that show, and the talent on there is extraordinary, so this should be a great season.”
Recently, the show premiered the first coach performance of the season, as the four stars teamed up for a performance of “Reach Out I’ll Be There” by the Four Tops. As Snoop joked at the Olympics, “Didn’t know I’m a Four Top, huh?”
The Coaches ‘Love Each Other So Much’
The Voice recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at the Season 26 coaches’ performance. Michael Bublé can be heard joking, “Snoop, Reba, Gwen, and I… Out of all the people in the world that you thought would become the super band, this wasn’t it.”
Bublé went on to point out that Snoop can actually sing, which might surprise some viewers. He added of the experience filming the performance together, “Honestly, we love each other so much that it was a blast.”
The Voice Season 26 will premiere on NBC on Monday, September 23, at 8/7c. It will be available to stream the next day on Peacock. As usual, the season will kick off with the Blind Auditions, as the coaches fill their teams.
