Gwen Stefani is swapping stilettos for fishing boots! Over the weekend, the pop star shared sweet footage of herself out on a fishing boat with husband Blake Shelton, fully embracing life in Oklahoma. From Hollywood red carpets to the great outdoors, Gwen’s transformation into a country girl is the love story fans can’t get enough of.

Maybe we will see Gwen Stefani in the Bassmaster Classic Celebrity Pro-Am in the future.

Blake Shelton is really making a country girl out of this city slicker, as Gwen Stefani shared footage of her on the fishing boat with Shelton over the weekend. Gwen has embraced her Oklahoma life, trading her Hollywood nights for the great outdoors.

With the weather warming up, that means it’s fishing season, and Blake and Gwen wasted no time getting their boat in the water. Gwen joined the “God’s Country” singer on his boat to cast a line and give fans a glimpse into their home life.

Gwen Stefani looked stunning on the boat, sporting a full-glam look while wearing a button-up shirt, camo pants, and muck boots. It’s country girl-chic, to say the least. She hilariously joked about her fishing while using her hit 2006 single “Wind It Up.” The footage shows her casting a line and catching a nice-sized bass that she proudly holds up for her viewers to examine at the end of the video.

“Who knew ‘Wind It Up’ was about fishing this whole time?? lol”

In a second post, she also shows Blake on the boat, highlighting one of his catches.

It seems like a perfect way to end the weekend. However, some of her fans were not happy to see her enjoy a slower-paced country life.

This video comes shortly after some of her fans became unglued after she praised Jonathan Roumie’s interview with Tucker Carlson about Christianity. Some of those angry fans spilled over into the comments section of these two videos, with them saying how they miss the “old Gwen.” Fans were hateful on that post of her praising the interview calling her a pro-Trump, a right-wing grifter, a Bible-thumper and more…

Do people not have anything better to do than hate on celebrities for… checks notes… fishing?

Many of those keyboard warriors also came back with vengeance on these posts, leaving similar comments. But since when did fishing last disclose your political views? Just saying, it’s kind of weird to jump to that conclusion just because she’s on a boat… Some commenters were also dragging her for fishing in makeup.

“MagaGwen is not it.”

“Gwen supporting Trump was not on bingo card…ever.”

“Girl, you don’t need to wear all that makeup when you’re out fishing seriously.”

“I miss 1995 Gwen Stefani.”

“There is no culture she won’t appropriate, is there?”

“Y’all know she’s a Trumpster now, right?”

“You aren’t very Love Angel Music Baby anymore.”

While the videos received some hate, most of Gwen’s fans loved this content and quickly commented, noting how iconic she was for fishing in full glam and praising her for enjoying the slow and simple moments.

“THIS IS EPIC”

“You’re killing it, girl.”

“You know what.. hell yea!!”

“Okaayyyy! Gwen”

“A simple kind of life”

“Damn girl! She can fish too.”

“That’s what I’m talking about! Fishing glam! C’mon Gwen give it to us!”

“QUEEN!”

“He’s so happy with her. So glad he’s happy.”

“Sitka and full glam, I’m here for it, girl.”

These are the comments I like to see. Fans are happy to see her living her best life and are happy for her for finding a relationship that brings her joy.
