One Man’s Act Of Kindness Gets The Attention Of Bunnie Xo
Bunnie Xo, wife of country star Jelly Roll, has partnered with social media influencer Zachery Dereniowski to change the life of a family in need.
Earlier this month, Zachery, known online as “MD Motivator,” introduced the world to a man named Peter, who is raising his three-year-old grandson while his daughter battles addiction. The influencer often poses as someone in need, and then generously gives back to the first person who shows him kindness.
After Peter met Zachery in a Canadian Tire parking lot and bought him a pair of shoes, Zachery surprised the man with $500 in gift cards in return.
However, instead of keeping the gift, Peter turned around and gave $400 of it away to a stranger. He said:
“It wasn’t in my pocket when I started, so [I can] make someone smile or feel like I just felt…”
A video of the interaction was shared online and caught Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s attention. Watch it below.
Bunnie Xo Helps Surprise Grandpa Peter With A New Home
After being inspired by Peter’s story, Bunnie partnered with Zachery to plan an even bigger surprise. Zachery returned to the campground where Peter lives in an RV with his grandson, Aaron.
The influencer first tells Peter that he is there to gift him another $5,000 on behalf of Canadian Tire. However, that was only the beginning. He then shows the grandpa a video message from Bunnie Xo. She tells him:
“When I saw your story, it actually really moved me so much the way that you paid it forward when you didn’t even have to, that it inspired me to wanna pay it forward to you also…”
As Zachery guides Peter, blindfolded, to his surprise, he asks him, “What keeps you going?” Peter responds:
“Aaron. And hope. You know, I lost my parents at an early age, and it was hard. There is good at the end of the rainbow.”
When the blindfold is removed to reveal his brand-new RV, Peter is at a loss for words. He breaks down in tears when he steps inside and says:
“You have no clue how much this helps me, man. We are so lucky.”
Peter Once Again Demonstrates Selfless Generosity
As the reality of his gift from Bunnie Xo sinks in, Peter decides to extend that same kindness to a neighbor. He points out a man who lives in a pop-up tent nearby. Peter walks over to the man, hands him the keys to his old RV, and says:
“These are yours for mine.”
