ICE Arrests Former Presidential Candidate

Pierre Reginald Boulos, a Haitian national and U.S. permanent resident, has been arrested by ICE in Miami for alleged involvement in Haitian gang activity and immigration fraud. Authorities believe he supported the gang Viv Ansanm, designated as a foreign terrorist group, and failed to disclose ties to a political movement during his immigration process.

Boulos is accused of hiding his role in MTVAyiti, a nationalist political organization, as well as facing corruption investigations in Haiti. U.S. officials say these omissions constitute immigration fraud and could lead to his deportation.

ICE emphasized the national security implications, stating that legal U.S. residents must not support criminal or terrorist organizations. The case is being investigated by multiple agencies, including USCIS and the State Department.

In a separate incident, ICE also re-arrested a Mexican national in Chicago for allegedly hiding a decapitated body, highlighting ongoing concerns over immigration enforcement and public safety.
