With heavy hearts, we announce the passing

Dr. Kimberly Nix, a Canadian doctor who openly shared her battle with metastatic sarcoma on Instagram and TikTok, has died three years after her diagnosis.

She was 28 when first diagnosed and in her final year of medical residency.

Her last nine-minute video, posted May 8, showed her getting ready while reflecting on her life, love for her husband, and gratitude for her supporters.

She encouraged donations to the Sarcoma Alliance, saying the only sadness she carried was not being able to grow old with her husband. “I had a beautiful life,” she said. “I’m so proud of it.”
