Jason Aldean Brings DJ Daniel Out On Stage At Recent Show
During a recent performance for his Full Throttle Tour, Jason Aldean created a special moment by bringing 13-year-old cancer patient DJ Daniel on stage with him.
DJ Daniel was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2018 and was given just five months to live.
Over the years, he has undergone 13 brain surgeries and defied the odds. He’s been able to live out many of his dreams, including being sworn in as an honorary Secret Service agent earlier this year.
After everything he has gone through, Daniel has made it his mission to help other kids battling cancer.
Not long ago, Daniel shared a video online asking if anyone had a connection to Aldean. He wanted his help to make a benefit concert happen to raise money for the cause.
The video quickly caught the attention of many people who wanted to help, including Darius Rucker, Jelly Roll, and, of course, Jason Aldean, who vowed to help set something up with Daniel.
Well, Aldean kept his promise and surprised the crowd at his recent show in Texas with Daniel as a special guest.
Jason Aldean & DJ Daniel Raise Over $200k For Childhood Cancer Charity
Before the concert, Jason Aldean and DJ Daniel hosted a charity event at Puttshack in Houston.
The event partnered with the Houston Astros and Patriot Mobile. Together, they raised $200,000 for Heroes for Children, an organization that gives financial support to families battling childhood cancer.

Later that night, when Daniel and his family joined Aldean on stage, Aldean praised the 13-year-old’s philanthropy by saying:
“I spent a few hours with this guy today, and when I tell you he’s a kid that will brighten your day up, I’m not kidding. This guy is pretty unbelievable right here.”
DJ Daniel also used his time on stage to get a laugh from the crowd.
The teenager cracked a little joke while holding the mic, putting a smile on everyone’s faces.
