“I’ve never cried on stage… until that moment.” Garth Brooks choked up as he watched his daughter, Allie Colleen, take the stage after Jelly Roll’s unlikely push. In an emotional handover, Jelly Roll declared Allie “the voice that will carry on the soul of country,” handing her not only the stage but his heart and faith in a new generation. Garth, standing silently in the crowd, tears in his eyes, sobbed as he watched his daughter break out of her father’s shadow to write her own legend. “He not only helped her… but he believed in her like a miracle,” he shared backstage. The audience called it the most emotional coronation Nashville had ever seen—a legacy-passing, a new legend being written with tears, music, and fierce faith.

Allie Colleen, daughter of country music icon Garth Brooks, is forging her own path into country music

Garth Brooks‘ youngest daughter, Allie Colleen, inherited her father’s passion for music but promised her parents she would finish college before pursuing a music career. After graduating from Belmont University in 2018, she began working as an independent artist, recording and releasing her own original music.

The 28-year-old chose to perform under her first and middle name, omitting her last name, as an intentional way to avoid riding on her father’s coattails.

Her debut album, Stones, was released in 2021. Allie describes her musical style as having “hints of timeless tradition” and falling between “classic and emerging country sounds.”

Allie Colleen will hit the road with Jelly Roll this fall

Recently, Allie Colleen shared the exciting news that she will open for Jelly Roll for the second leg of his Beautifully Broken Tour. She wrote:

“BEAUTIFULLY LOSING MY MIND [RIGHT NOW] // when @jellyroll615 says something he means it.”

Along with the upcoming tour dates, Allie shared a screenshot of a direct Instagram message she received from Jelly Roll in 2022. The “Save Me” singer wrote:

“Yo! Just getting hip, but your s*** is awesome! Let’s collab.”

Now, two years later, that idea is coming to fruition. Risings stars Eernest and Shaboozy will round out the lineup for the upcoming shows.

The opportunity to tour with Jelly Roll is Allie Colleen’s biggest break yet

Allie Colleen’s excitement and gratitude to be included on Jelly Roll’s tour is evident. A source told Life & Style:

“When Jelly Roll heard Allie’s amazing voice, he told her he wants her on the road with him!” They added, “This is the biggest break Allie has ever gotten in the music business.”

Allie Colleen will appear on the Beautifully Broken Tour for 14 shows between October 30th and November 23rd. More details and ticket info can be found here.
