American Idol star and stay-at-home mom Breanna Nix clearly loves Carrie Underwood.
In a recent video posted to social media, Nix covered a beautiful rendition of Underwood’s hit, “Inside Your Heaven.”
“carrie will always be one of my favs to cover!” Nix wrote in the caption.
“Inside Your Heaven” is a heartfelt song about finding peace, strength, and salvation through someone you love. The melody portrays the idea that being close to this person is like being inside heaven, and a place of safety, comfort, and completeness.
Nix sang along side her husband, who is playing the piano.
Nix Started Her Journey On Idol With A Carrie Underwood Song
Nix first won the hearts of the American Idol judges when she auditioned with a beautiful cover of Carrie Underwood‘s “Jesus, Take the Wheel.”
The singer came to her first audition with Austin and Emerson.The sweet little boy made his way to Underwood, who quickly picked him up and brought him to the judges’ table.
When Nix introduced herself as “just a stay-at-home mom,” Underwood said, “never say I’m just a stay-at-home mom…you have the most important job.”
Between Nix’s beautiful performance and seeing sleepy little Emerson, Underwood got choked up at the end of the song. With tears in her eyes, she asked Luke Bryan to speak first.

Recently, Nix also covered Underwood’s 2005 hit “Wasted.”
In the video posted to social media, the singer can be seen belting out the lyrics as they flash across the screen. Her husband joined her by playing the piano.
