Francisco San Martin, Soap Actor, Dies at 39

Francisco San Martin, an actor best known for his roles on NBC’s Days of Our Lives and CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful, has died at the age of 39.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, San Martin was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Thursday, January 16. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging.

San Martin built a career in daytime television and became a recognizable face for soap opera fans. On Days of Our Lives, he portrayed Dario Hernandez, and on The Bold and the Beautiful, he played Mateo, a character who quickly became a fan favorite.

His passing has left colleagues and fans shocked and saddened, with many remembering his talent, charisma, and warm personality on and off the screen. Tributes continue to pour in across social media as the entertainment community reflects on his life and career.
