San Jacinto, Calif. — Actress Robyn Bernard, remembered for her role as Terry Brock on General Hospital, has died at the age of 64.
Authorities said Bernard’s body was discovered in San Jacinto on Tuesday. Police responded to a call regarding an unattended death, and her identity was later confirmed through fingerprint records. The Riverside County Coroner’s Office will conduct an autopsy; no official cause of death has been released.
Bernard was a familiar face to soap opera audiences in the 1980s. She appeared in 145 episodes of General Hospital between 1984 and 1990, where her performances drew admiration from fans of the long-running ABC series. She later portrayed a psychologist in the 2002 film Voices from the High School. Though she stepped back from acting in later years, her work on daytime television left a lasting impression.
As colleagues and fans share condolences, her passing is a reminder of how quickly the stage of life changes. The Sufi sage Ibn ʿAta’illah wrote that the true measure of a life is not its length, but its sincerity. Robyn Bernard’s work continues to live in memory—moments of performance that touched hearts, now folded into the greater story of return to God, the One who sees beyond the spotlight.
