Former MasterChef México contestant Yanin Campos has tragically passed away at the age of 38 following a car accident in Chihuahua, Mexico. Known for her warmth, dedication, and passion for cooking, Yanin was loved both for her television presence and her work as a nurse — roles through which she touched countless lives.

The crash occurred on August 2, 2025, when her vehicle reportedly collided with a parked van in Chihuahua City. She was hospitalized for two days but sadly succumbed to her injuries on August 4. Authorities are still investigating the exact cause of the accident.

Yanin first gained national attention as a contestant on MasterChef México in 2018, returning the following year for the “Rematch” season. Fans adored her joyful personality, perseverance, and authentic love for food. After the show, she hosted a local TV program and built a strong online following through her YouTube and social media channels.

Her brother, Raúl Campos, confirmed the heartbreaking news on Facebook, writing, “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my sister.” Messages of grief and love quickly poured in from friends, colleagues, and fans across Mexico — a testament to the deep impact Yanin made through kindness, creativity, and heart.
