The FDA has issued an urgent recall for Floria Dried Apricots from Turkana Food Inc., warning consumers to stop eating the product immediately after routine testing revealed undeclared sulfites — a preservative that can cause severe allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. The affected packages, labeled with LOT number 440090478-15-333, an expiration date of November 2026, and UPC 2539560010, were sold in 19 states, including Florida, Texas, New York, California, and Virginia. So far, no illnesses have been reported.
