Remember little Jake Harper from Two and a Half Men? This is him now

Angus T. Jones rose to fame as Jake Harper on the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, becoming one of the most recognizable child actors of his generation. At the height of the show’s success, he was reportedly earning $300,000 per episode, and the series regularly drew more than 15 million viewers, cementing his place in television history at a young age.

As the show progressed, Jake’s character shifted from a lovable child to a more troubled teenager, a change that mirrored a turning point in Jones’s own life. In 2012, he experienced a profound personal transformation, converting to the Seventh-day Adventist faith and being baptized.

Around the same time, he publicly criticized the show, saying that “no one should watch Two and a Half Men,” expressing discomfort with the themes his character had come to represent.

Jones officially departed the series in 2014 and later voiced regret for the way his comments affected the show and its creator, Chuck Lorre. Choosing a quieter path, he stepped away from Hollywood and moved to Colorado, where he focused on his education and studied religion at the University of Colorado Boulder, signaling a clear shift from fame toward a more private, values-driven life.
