BREAKING NEWS: George W. Bush welcomes grandson named in honor of great-grandfathers

Barbara Pierce Bush and her husband, Craig Coyne, welcomed their second child, Edward Finn Coyne, at NYU Langone Health in New York City. The couple, already parents to 2-year-old Cora Georgia, shared warm hospital photos that captured the joy of the moment.

While former President George W. Bush offered a public welcome, it was Jenna Bush Hager who shared the most heartfelt glimpse into the family’s excitement. She described herself as “madly in love” with her new nephew and posted tender moments from the hospital.

Edward’s birth marks another meaningful chapter for George and Laura Bush as grandparents. From Cora’s arrival in Maine to Edward’s birth in New York, the family continues to celebrate milestones together.

“Welcome to the world, Edward Finn Coyne,” the former president wrote. As the family gathers to celebrate, the focus remains on what matters most — love, legacy, and the promise of a new generation.
