T.D. Jakes Stable After Health Incident During Service
Bishop T.D. Jakes, founder of The Potter’s House in Dallas, is in “stable” condition after experiencing a health issue during Sunday service, the church confirmed. Following an hour-long sermon and praying Psalm 19:14, Jakes appeared unwell, prompting staff to rush to his aid as the congregation prayed.
“Bishop Jakes received immediate medical attention and is under the care of professionals,” The Potter’s House said in a Facebook statement, expressing gratitude for prayers and support.
A YouTube video shows Jakes sharing his love for preaching before exhibiting seizure-like symptoms. Many speculate he may have had a stroke.
Despite recent challenges, including unverified rumors about his personal life dismissed by his team as baseless, Jakes remains a beloved spiritual leader.
