‘Supernanny’ Jo Frost slams ‘lazy’ parents for raising unresilient kids

She says small shortcuts, like always using strollers, pacifiers, or doing simple tasks for children, can quietly weaken their confidence. Many children are capable of learning more, but adults often step in too quickly.

Frost’s message is not about blaming parents. It is a reminder that love also means giving children the chance to try, struggle, repeat, and slowly master everyday skills.

Teaching things like brushing teeth, tying shoes, walking, sitting properly, or helping at home takes patience. But those small lessons help children grow into more capable, confident, and prepared people.
