Sheriff Mike Boudreaux criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for using his image in a campaign ad without permission, clarifying he does not endorse her.
He called her 2013 visit to California “smoke and mirrors” and accused her of taking credit for local law enforcement’s work.
Harris’s ad attempts to portray her as tough on border control, but critics point to the surge in illegal immigration under her watch. She has only visited the border once and her policies have been deemed ineffective.
Former Border Patrol union chief Brandon Judd also slammed Harris for not implementing necessary policies to address illegal immigration. Her efforts to manage migration have lacked new commitments since 2021.
