In North Charleston, South Carolina, a woman fought off a teenage man who broke into her home with the intent to sexually assault her. During the attack, she bit down on his tongue, severing it and successfully defending herself.
The 33-year-old victim reported that the man had been knocking on her door before forcing his way in with a knife. He threatened her and physically assaulted her, demanding she stop fighting.
As he tried to drag her to her bedroom and remove her clothing, she kicked him in the groin, momentarily disabling him. In a desperate attempt to overpower her, he forced his tongue into her mouth.
Refusing to surrender, she bit his tongue as hard as she could, ultimately escaping the attack and ensuring her safety.
