Aerosmith has postponed six concerts from their Peace Out: The Farewell Tour, including shows in Toronto and Chicago, now rescheduled for early 2024. The band reassured fans that all previously purchased tickets will be honored.
The delay is due to Steven Tyler’s vocal cord damage, which doctors advised him to rest for 30 days. He sustained the injury during a recent performance and shared the news on Instagram.
Originally set to end on January 26 in Montreal, the tour will now conclude later, resuming on October 11. At 75, Tyler faces the physical demands of performing, making recovery essential.
Fans eagerly await his return, appreciating both his musical legacy and philanthropic efforts, such as his 2019 donation to “Janie’s House” for abused women. The delay has only heightened excitement for Aerosmith’s comeback.
